Message from the Head

As an all-girls' school we feel we provide opportunities for girls to thrive academically in an environment suited to their particular needs.

As a language college we are ideally positioned to prepare students for their future working lives.

The need to have a good understanding of other lands and cultures has never been more important, and the ability to speak foreign languages is a highly valued skill amongst employers.

We provide the same basic curriculum as any other comprehensive school but our specialist school status has allowed us to enhance that provision.

We believe that the best way to find out about a school is to visit it on a working day, and we would welcome the opportunity to take you around the school, visiting classrooms and talking to students and staff.

The school is situated in the south-west of Coventry close to the University of Warwick.

We are fortunate to be sited in 27 acres of land with extensive playing fields, meadows and a rich natural habitat. As part of the Building Schools for the Future programme the school is due to be completely re-built over the next three years with the new building due to open in the 2011-2012 academic year. This is a thrilling opportunity. Approximately £30million will be spent on state of the art buildings and ICT facilities fit for the 21st century, allowing us to provide the kind of educational experience that young women will need to prepare them for their future working lives.
