Staying in Touch

We believe that successful education is based upon a partnership between child, parent and school. And we aim to keep parents informed about and involved in their daughter’s education. Students are given Planners in which they record important information such as homework so that parents can see what their daughter has to do.

We aim to provide key information about students’ progress: we have a face-to-face meeting, an interim Progress review and a more extensive school report. These are arranged across the year so that parents receive one of these important progress checks regularly.

Sometimes there is a need to follow something up quite quickly and on those occasions we will contact home as soon as possible and try to arrange a meeting at a mutually convenient time.

We provide whole-school information in two main ways. We have a school web-site on which information about events and policies can be accessed, and we send home a parents’ Newsletter every half-term.
